Before you connect
Do I need to move my content?
No. Asset Router hosts licensing information and handles authorization. Your customer retrieves the content from your infrastructure.
Can my customers use licences they already bought?
Yes. They submit the licence information and, when needed, supporting documents. You confirm the rights and expiry. A declaration alone does not authorize access.
Can I charge for my content?
Yes. You set the commercial terms and receive payment directly. Asset Router does not take payment for the licence. Confirm the customer’s rights once your conditions are met.
What does the activity record show?
Requests, their outcomes and authorizations issued by the service. It does not prove that content was downloaded or used in a model response.
